Both flat leaf and curly parsley grow in a similar way. If grown from seeds they are very slow to germinate and need warm soil temperatures.
It’s best to plant young parsley plants into the beds from Spring (well after frost) until late Summer.
The plants can reach considerable size, upto 25cm in diameter, so only 1 or 2 per square.
Do not start to harvest leaves until the plant has approximately 8 to 10.
Pick as needed until October, cutting stems from the base and cut back any yellowing leaves.
